Scotland Itinerary

June 6-15, 2022 - 10Days / 9Nights 

Day 1 – Halifax to Glasgow  

June 6

10:50 PM - Depart on WestJet from Halifax

Day 2– Glasgow to Edinburgh    (B, D)

June 7

  • 8:10 AM - Arrival at Glasgow  airport and customs check
  • Depart airport and stop for breakfast on route to Edinburgh.
  • Continue on to Edinburgh arriving at your hotel.
  • 5:30 PM - Meet in hotel lounge for our welcome to Scotland reception and dinner

​Day 3–Edinburgh city tour plus the castle and free time (B,)

June 8

  • Included hotel breakfast
  • Depart for Edinburgh city tour including new town, old town and Leith. 
  • After lunch you will get a guided tour of Edinburgh Castle.
  • Following castle tour you are free for the balance of the day 


  • Day 4  Edinburgh, Callander, Glencoe (B,D)

June 9

  • Included hotel breakfast
  • Departing Edinburgh we travel towards Stirling for a brief stop and are now in Rob Roy Mac Gregor territory.
  • We stop in the picturesque town of Callander for lunch.
  • In midafternoon we will arrive in the famous region of Glencoe where we will visit the
  • Arrive at our hotel for the check-in overnight. ​



Day 5–Glencoe, Roy Bridge, Glenfinnan, Arisaig, Isle of Skye (B, L)

June 10

  • Included hotel breakfast
  • Make our way to Roy Bridge where a local crofter (farmer) Ronnie Campbell will guide us through the history of the area including the historic Cille Choirill church.
  • Next we travel on the “Road to the Isles” and a stop at the Glenfinnan visitor center.
  • Lunch and walkabout in the towns of Arisaig and Morar
  • At 4pm we cross on the ferry from Mallaig to Armadale( 40 minutes)  on the Isle of Skye
  • We proceed to your hotel and check in.


Day 6 –Isle of Skye-Portree-Clan Donald Center - (B, D)

June 11

  • We travel north for an hour to the picturesque town of Portree the largest center on the Isle of Skye where there will be free time for shopping and lunch. Both travelling to Portree and leaving Portree we will pass through the majestic Cullin hills
  • Returning to the south of Skye we arrive at the Clan Donald center, historic grounds of the Clan Donald the most powerful clan in Scotland.
  • Leaving the Clan Donald center we stop at Sol Mor Ostaig the Gaelic College on Skye for a brief introduction to the college and its storied history.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7 –Isle of Skye –Eilean Donan Castle – Inverness (B, L)

June 12

  • Include hotel breakfast
  • Departing Skye via the bridge we stop for a tour of Eilean Donna Castle Situated on an island at the point where three great sea lochs meet, and surrounded by some majestic scenery.
  • Leaving Eilean Donan Castle we motor towards Inverness stopping for lunch.     
  • Next up is a visit to the Glen Ord Distillery for a tour and tasting.                                                                  
  • Check in to your city center hotel in Inverness.
  • Guest are free for the remainder of the day.

Day 8 – Inverness –Culloden- Inverness (B, D)

June 13

  • Included hotel breakfast
  • Depart for Clava Cairns and then to the famous Culloden Interpretive center  and battlefield
  • Following lunch we will make a short stop at the Royal Stuart Golf course
  • At midafternoon we arrive back at your hotel.
  • The group will gather for our last dinner in the Highlands of Scotland


Day 9 – Inverness –Fort William –Loch Lomond -Glasgow (B)

June 14

  • Included hotel breakfast
  • Visit the Loch Ness visitor center
  • Free time in the center of Fort William for lunch and some last minute shopping.
  • We then motor down the A82 making our way to our hotel at the Glasgow Airport

​Day 10 – Glasgow airport –Halifax (B)

June 15

  • Included hotel breakfast
  • Early morning  to Glasgow Airport where we take our WestJet flight to Halifax
  • Flight departs at 930 am and arrives in Halifax at 1145 PM.


  • International direct return airfare with WestJet from Halifax ( Airfare can also be arranged and quoted  from other cities in Canada .)
  • All transfers from/to airports
